In addition to funds raised through registration fees and sponsorships at our annual fantasy hockey tournaments, donations from generous Canadians allow Hockey for the Homeless to assemble and distribute thousands of Life Kits every year and fund critical infrastructure and reintegration projects and programs at solutions-based homeless outreach centres across Canada.
And because we are a volunteer-driven organization with only one paid employee since 1996, you can rest assured that more of your donation dollars will reach the projects and programs aimed at ending homelessness in Canada in our lifetime. For more information on the projects and programs supported by Hockey for the Homeless in your community, please visit "The Cause" page in the city nearest you.
Hockey for the Homeless is a registered Canadian charity (Charitable Business Number: 865580146 RR0001) and a tax receipt will automatically be issued for all donations of $25.00 and more. Wherever possible, donations will be used to support homeless outreach partners in the city nearest to the donor's residence as indicated on the donation form.
